The latest episode of 210 Fast Break breaks down a rollercoaster week for the San Antonio Spurs, highlighting a dominant comeback against the Rockets, a tough morning loss to the Hornets, and a flurry of All-Star weekend announcements that have the city buzzing.

Spurs Rally Late to Topple Rockets

The Spurs secured a massive 111–99 victory over the Houston Rockets on January 28, 2026. Despite trailing by as much as 16 points and entering halftime down 62–54, San Antonio turned the tide with a defensive masterclass in the second half. The Spurs' defense limited Houston to just 13 points in the fourth quarter, while outscoring them by 20 points across the final two frames.

Victor Wembanyama was the clear standout, recording 28 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 blocks. His second-half dominance was bolstered by rookie Dylan Harper, who provided a crucial spark to help close out the game.

Morning Blues in Charlotte

In a game rescheduled to 11:00 AM due to local weather, the Spurs fell 111–106 to the Charlotte Hornets on January 31, 2026. The Spurs struggled early, shooting poorly in a second quarter where they were outscored 35–17.

Charlotte’s Brandon Miller torched the Spurs for 18 first-half points, including 16 in the second quarter alone. While San Antonio attempted a late surge—outscoring the Hornets by 9 in the second half—the early deficit proved too large to overcome. Dylan Harper led the team in scoring with 20 points on efficient 9-of-13 shooting.
